There is only a small community of roofing contractors nationwide (estimated to be less than 6%) who have been awarded GAF’s prestigious Certified Roofing Installer designation. Certianteed ShingleMaster Company: To become a ShingleMaster Company Certainteed requires the roofing company to employ a MasterShingle Applicator Qualified Roofing Crew (at least one job supervisor and two installers) OR attend a ShingleMaster Credential Course. Alden Roofing exceeded these requirements by certifying over 20 associates AND attending a ShingleMaster Credential Course. Alden Roofing requires all new Roofing Estimators and Roofing Crews to pass the Master Shingle Applicator course. This program educates roofing contractors in every aspect of shingle installation techniques, and the approved procedures for installing all CertianTeed shingles. The program covers topics such as roofing workmanship, roof systems, estimating, roof flashing, roof ventilation, and roofing product installation instructions. North Texas Roofing Contractors Association promotes both residential roofing and commercial roofing contractors who uphold the highest industry standards.
