Roofing Contractors Association of Texas (RCAT): RCAT's mission is to help its members operate successfully by providing up-to-date continuing education, technical research data, industry contacts, consumer help and a forum for governmental and public relations. Educational Programs assist in improving contractor management skills that are necessary to conduct business more effectively and efficiently. Certification Programs increase consumer protection and secures the public confidence in the roofing industry by elevating the roofing contractor's knowledge, skills and professionalism through voluntary self-regulation. Applications for a Contractor must be sponsored by a RCAT Contractor member and a RCAT Associate member in good standing, applicant must have been in business in roofing and/or waterproofing contracting for a minimum of one year and credit references must be submitted from three suppliers.
